"Mt. Focus" is the debut full length by Malta-based band Double Standard, featuring ten tracks of straightforward punk music with nods to hardcore. Entirely produced by the band, the record focuses on systemic racism, cosmology, misinformation, anxiety, and the band's favorite actor Patrick Swayze.

"Mt. Focus" features a contribution by Martina Raneri on the unlikely punk duet on the blast beats of "Mental Gymnastics", and jazz musician Carlo Muscat, who closes the record with an improvised, intense sax solo on "Earth 2".
